A "Toot-Your-Horn" Moment. Brought to you today by the letter C and the letter G

Soooooo..... just in case I hadn't told anyone yet... I LOVE MY JOB!!!!!! Love, LOVE, love.

For the first time in 4 years I am working on the opposite side of the body, YES! That's right, my category and department is YC Structured and Loose Wovens (YC=Young & Contemporary, also another way to say Womens). So basically I work on Button-up's, blouses, tunics, corsets, dresses, etc.. It's been a thrill for many reasons....

I am doing TONS of patternmaking, draping, and fittings with a fit-model - waaaay more than I have ever done in my life. It's been a fulfilling growth experience for me, and I am thrilled to take the challenge.

The COOLEST part about being apart of Guess is seeing and feeling your hard work come to be successful. Guess has been always famous for their ad- campaigns. Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Drew Barrymore, Anna Nicole Smith (Guess actually gave her her name- she was just Anna Nicole before they photographed her!!), Paris Hilton- to just name a few are some of the famous photographs that have come from their ad campaigns. I am very very excited that some of my garments are in their campaigns from their latest shoot!

This one is in all store fronts right now for GUESS! --------------------->>>>>

So next time you pass a Guess store you can look at that HUGE 13ft poster and say "Ah! Carrie perfected that fit!" I keep looking out to see if my stuff is on any billboards yet... but that may be another blog. :)

And here are some other pictures from the ad campaign of my stuff!

I feel SUPER proud and excited for all of it!

So that's how I am doing in SUNNY and WARM L.A. ...

Missing you all and wishing PDX wasn't so far, but I am so thrilled to have this be my experience out here. Yay!! I love fashion!
